TOP 10 WAYS TO EARN EXTRA CASH THIS MONTH

1. Cancel any unused subscriptions

If you are currently signed up for subscriptions that you are not actively utilizing, please call and have the subscription canceled. In addition, please ask for a refund on the unused portion of the subscription. This could be anything ranging from Netflix to Amazon Prime to Spotify, etc.

2. Sell your old books

As a broke college student, I was always looking for extra ways to earn cash. So I created an account on Amazon and every semester I would post pictures and descriptions for all of the textbooks I no longer needed. Most of them sold and for decent prices too.

3. Rent out your car

While I actually haven’t done this yet, I am actively thinking about it. I had my first experience with renting from Turo recently when I traveled to Los Angeles, CA to attend my great aunt’s funeral. The company I rented from had parking spaces for hundreds of cars housed on the top floor of a parking garage. I was picked up from the airport in the company van and all of my driving information was verified before we arrived at the location. The driver gave me the keys to my 2019 Nissan Maxima and I was off in no time. I can definitely see how this can be a very lucrative business even if you only have one car. I believe it’s definitely worth some research.

4. Do odd jobs

If you are good with your hands, consider becoming a “tasker” on sites like TaskRabbit. This site allows you to sign up to offer services such as assembling tables/desks, mounting tv’s, planting flowers, painting, etc.  You will be required to do a background check before you can become a “tasker.”

5. Become a grocery shopper

If grocery shopping is a passion of yours, then consider becoming a grocery shopper with sites like Instacart. The job requires you to shop and deliver the groceries to the customer. The hours are flexible and payment is sent every week.

6. Sell your photos

If photography is your thing, then why not sell some of those amazing pics to FOAP or Shutterstock! Now, you can’t just upload any old photos. They need to be awesome high-quality pictures. When someone purchases your photos on FOAP, the profit is split 50/50. With Shutterstock, contributors receive royalties that can vary depending on your total sales.

7. Give plasma

Typically, when you hear about blood drives in the community or at work, there is usually a request to donate blood. However; did you know that you can actually get paid to give plasma, which is the clear liquid part of the blood? Though the process can require any 1-2 hours of your time, you can be compensated anywhere from $20-$50 for your donation.

8. Become a line sitter

If you have some free time on your hands, think about renting yourself out. Apparently, there are companies such as Same Ole Line Dudes that have created a service-based business that employs individuals to stand in line for customers, whether that be physically or online to purchase high demand items such as concert tickets, tennis, cell phones, etc. How about creating an ad on Craigslist offering up your services?

9. Rent out your driveway

Do you live in a city like Chicago or New York where a parking spot is a rare commodity? If you fit in this category and you have a parking space/driveway which is unoccupied, then how about renting it out to someone in need?  With sites like Pavement, this can surely bring in some decent income if you get the right customer.

10. Become a buddy

Do you enjoy hanging out with new people and want to get paid for it? Then sites like Rent A Friend might be for you. You can get paid to hang out with buddies at a ball game, attend a movie, or simply hang out at the park. Please note that you must negotiate your own rates, as the site does not handle payment arrangements.

I hope that this list was helpful to you! Drop me a line to let me know if any of these were a win!

Until Next Time,

Danielle
